How to read these facts
Each guide applies to its named course and annual edition. Older routes and support do not confirm a new edition.
Published metrics, not difficulty ratings
Physical and technical ratings are not assessed. Distance and climbing cannot establish surface, steep sections, handling demands or aid spacing. No rating guarantees conditions or suitability.
Distances and conversion
Nominal means a published category, not an exact route measurement. Approx. means approximately. Canada defaults to kilometres; USA to miles. Rounded conversions are labelled approximate; original units and qualifiers remain in course details. A range summarizes offered options, not every intermediate distance.
Climbing density
Total ascent divided by the same course’s distance, rounded to whole metres per kilometre. It is not gradient or the steepest climb. Approximate or nominal inputs produce approximate density; missing, conflicting, bounded or aggregate metrics do not produce density.
Uncertainty and scope
Unknown does not mean zero, no support or easy. Conflicting claims remain unresolved. Team and staged totals are not individual single-day distances. Support applies event-wide unless a course is named.
Entry and price
Opening dates and lotteries do not guarantee entry. Check eligibility, pathway, currency and mandatory fees. Geography does not establish currency. A generated page is not a fresh organizer check.
